According to the RIA Novosti news agency, one of the 50 wounded, who had been hospitalized in four different hospitals, was a 17- year-old girl with shrapnel injuries. The Interfax news agency said the number of injured was 46, citing city administration civil defense chief Boris Skripka. An official from the regional Investigative Committee Yekaterina Danilova told reporters that the bomb containing cup- shaped metal pieces 6-7 cm in size was remotely controlled by radio and was equivalent to 200 grams of TNT. The explosion was reportedly to have happened a few minutes before a Chechen folk performance at the local community center started. No dancers were injured, but they nonetheless had canceled the performance and headed back to Grozny, the capital of Chechen republic. According to some political analysts, what had happened in Stavropol might be some sort of response from the Russian government that might work as provocation to blame Chechens as well. But another question comes up: Why Chechen resistance would blow up innocent people (or folk performance) for no reason? Here we come to the only conclusion where Chechen resistance or Caucasian Front has nothing related to the explosion and moreover is working against Russian Occupation crimes and traitors of the Caucasus regions.
