One of the ChechenCenter's correspondents in Turkey asked many of the Turkish citizens if they know or support Khusayn Gakayev, new Chechen leader.

Turkish civilians of all generations have responded to this question positively and believe that Khusayn Gakayev is a Chechen hero who will lead his nation towards freedom and independence. 

Interesting point is that none of the Turkish people said anything in support of Dokku Umarov. In fact, some of the civilians, especially students, stated that Dokku Umarov doesn't represent Chechen independence of even North Caucasus resistance. Because "all of the mujahedeen are fighting for freedom of their people, not freedom of Dokku Umarov."

Since none of the respondents mentioned Dokku Umarov, ChechenCenter's correspondent in Turkey asked these civilians himself if they have any ideas what Dokku Umarov does represent in the Caucasus. To such question, the wining majority said that after attacks on civilians in Moscow and in Grozny, they think Dokku Umarov is FSB worker or else he is just benefiting Russian occupants in the Caucasus.
